What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Calculate the BOM and routings relevant to the Legrand Specials
  • Create manufacturing / engineering drawings using Radan CAD Software
  • Check all quotes and advise accordingly the relevant parties
  • Prepare drawings for Legrand Sales Representatives and quotations team, as and when required
  • Liaise with Sales Representatives and quotations regarding any queries, as and when required
  • Liaise with shop floor Team Leaders and answer any queries in relation to Legrand Specials in production
  • Provide timescales to the CAD CAM Team Leader in relation to customer orders
  • Undertake nesting of standard and specials as and when required
  • Involvement in new product development, productivity, and Industrialisation projects as and when required
  • Provide information to the Industrialisation Department, when required
  • Program samples for the R&D / Technical Department
  • Trouble shooting common machine, program and production issues
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by the CAD CAM Team Leader
  • Always abide by and actively promote the Legrand Group Values and Code of Ethics
