What will the apprentice be doing?
- Calculate the BOM and routings relevant to the Legrand Specials
- Create manufacturing / engineering drawings using Radan CAD Software
- Check all quotes and advise accordingly the relevant parties
- Prepare drawings for Legrand Sales Representatives and quotations team, as and when required
- Liaise with Sales Representatives and quotations regarding any queries, as and when required
- Liaise with shop floor Team Leaders and answer any queries in relation to Legrand Specials in production
- Provide timescales to the CAD CAM Team Leader in relation to customer orders
- Undertake nesting of standard and specials as and when required
- Involvement in new product development, productivity, and Industrialisation projects as and when required
- Provide information to the Industrialisation Department, when required
- Program samples for the R&D / Technical Department
- Trouble shooting common machine, program and production issues
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by the CAD CAM Team Leader
- Always abide by and actively promote the Legrand Group Values and Code of Ethics
