We are looking for a hardworking and reliable candidate to work within our busy converting machine plant. This is an excellent opportunity for a smart, ambitious and self-motivated individual to join a friendly environment. You will be running bespoke envelopes machines to capacity and adjusting and setting the machines to reflect changes in envelope specifications.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Running bespoke envelopes machines to capacity
- Achieving the required machine speeds whilst maintaining quality of product
- Adjusting and setting the machines to reflect changes in envelope specifications
- Maintaining all equipment to the required standard and reporting to the supervisor/manager any equipment requiring attention
- Maintaining the machine and associated areas in a clean and tidy state at all times
- Adhering to all Health and Safety Standards
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will work towards the Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship standard at Gateshead College to gain a Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing (knowledge and skills).
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full-time position, potentially leading to permanent employment.
