What will the apprentice be doing?
Rotations will include:
- Internal Audit, who ensure we’re doing things in the right way, every time
- Central Finance, who produce the company’s financial results and monthly statements
- Capital Finance, who manage the governance and reporting of our planned future spending
- Business Performance and insight, who are responsible for monitoring expenditure within our business functions
- Payables, who ensure invoices are processed and payments made in a timely and accurate fashion
- Sales Ledger, who raise invoices and allocate income appropriately
- Procure to Pay, who ensure business rules are followed and financial control is appropriate
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 2 - 4 AAT (Assistant Accountant) qualifications through our training partner South Devon College
- 1 day per week delivered on-site in Torquay or Paignton
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once you’re AAT-qualified, there will be opportunities to apply for our Chartered Accountancy programme, as part of a competitive process, which works towards a level 7 apprenticeship (Masters degree equivalent) to eventually achieve chartered accountant status.
