What will the apprentice be doing?
Part of being an apprentice at Siemens Energy means you get to work on real life projects whilst also being supported on a guided learning journey. This will be a 2.5 year apprenticeship where you will complete the Engineering Technician Standard.
- Undertake a series of work placements within a busy office environment.
- You may be required to operate MS Office suite software and 3D software to a relatively high standard by the completion of training.
- As part of the programme you could be working on engineering modifications and improvements for our core engine product range
- Liaising with manufacturing engineers within the workshop
- Learn how to work safely at all times, complying with health, safety and environmental legislation, regulations and organisational requirements
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This will be a 2.5 year apprenticeship where you will complete the Engineering Technician Standard (Level 3). This training leads to a Level Foundation qualification and alongside this you will develop your knowledge by undertaking a Level 3 technical qualification. Relevant functional skills are also undertaken if required.
Following on from this you will progress to complete an NVQ Level 3 qualification. Whilst completing the NVQ Level 3 you will undertake a series of work placements within a busy office environment.You may be required to operate MS Office suite software and 3D software to a relatively high standard by the completion of training.
