What will the apprentice be doing?

Precision is required in this role, alongside innovative ideas and a passion for organised work completion. Here at Remit, we want to support successful candidates in achieving excellence and advancing their careers over time. The purpose of the role is to support the F

functional skills tutors in organising and planning learner functional skills sessions. The role will be based on our Nottingham office and will include multiple means of communication methods to excel and deliver an outstanding service to our learners.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Communicating with employers and learners to plan and organise functional skills blocks

• To build a positive working relationship with stakeholders

• To communicate effectively with management in a timely manner

• Manage own time effectively ensuring learners that require functional skills are supported

• To carry out an initial assessment with learners to identify individual learning needs

• Invigilate assessments are taken by learners to fulfil awarding body requirements

• To keep up to date with new functional skills changes and developments

• Updating information into Remits Electronic Portfolio in a timely fashion to support all functional skills, face-to-face delivery tutors

• Keeping records up to date and reporting updates to the wider business

• Encouraging learners to complete functional skills self-study through Remits Electronic Portfolio

• Monitoring learner's individual skills plan completion in preparation for their face to face functional skills sessions

• Working with the learner services and well-being manager to drive success within this role

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As an apprentice, you will receive mentoring in the workplace and training from Remit Group to help develop your skills and achieve your Level 3 On successful completion, you will receive:

  • Level 3 in Business Administration
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English & maths (if required)
