You will assist in delivering sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE set programs of study, and also deliver a range of out of school hours learning.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Daily duties:
- Support the delivery of PE lessons
- Lead extra-curricular activities
- Organise and support physical activity and engagement at break and lunch times
- Carry out some admin related tasks linked to the role
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 4 Sports Coach apprenticeship standard:
- Functional Skills in maths and English if not previously achieved at GCSE or similar
- Day release at Weston College
- You will be given some of your week to complete off the job training
- In-house training
- End-Point Assessment preparation
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Potential for a full-time job offer, however this is not guaranteed.
