The role provides essential, comprehensive support to HQ departments including all aspects of administration and coordination. You will be supporting HR by updating the employee database, new starters, leavers, changes, sickness absence data, holiday reporting etc.

What will the apprentice be doing?
To assist HQ departments with the following administrative duties. Support will also be given to managers and employees as and when required:
- Assist the HR department with L&D activities. This would include booking & setting up training rooms, booking hotel accommodation and corporate lunches, recording completed training on the HR system, issuing certificates and long service awards
- Support the HR team with the administration tasks of a new starter ranging from requesting references, dispatching welcome boxes to updating business organisational charts and intranet
- Support HR by updating the employee database, new starters, leavers, changes, sickness absence data, holiday reporting etc.
- Support the HR team with the administration of DB and DC pension scheme, starters, leavers and annual communications
- Supporting the SHEQ team with general administration, H&S stats, SHEQ data for tender submissions, keeping intranet up to date
- Responsible for ensuring the fleet management system is kept up to date. This would include managing driver scorecards, accident reports, 1-2-1 driver training records, completing insurance & MOT checks, and producing accurate reports for management
- General HQ administration duties would also include ordering stationery, booking travel and accommodation, holiday cover for reception plus any other ad hoc projects as required
