    Monday - Friday,9.00am - 5.00pm. Paid hour for lunch. 24 days paid holiday plus bank holidays. Your birthday off!

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • General filing of orders of invoices.
  • Emailing invoices to customers.
  • Photocopying sales and purchase order forms.
  • General copying that may be required.
  • Ordering stationary.
  • Data entry and updating spreadsheet.
  • Incoming and outgoing post.
  • Checking delivery notes.
  • Price checking purchase invoices.
  • Answering incoming calls once product knowledge has been gained.
  • Contacting suppliers for information.
  • Helping to get the vans out for the daily deliveries.
  • Supporting colleagues and management team.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Standard.
  • On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Regular work-based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

Things to consider

Interview - We will be interviewing candidates who meet the criteria as they apply and will recruit after a successful interview which may be before the closing date. Reality Check - You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work daily whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid. Travel Information - 11-minute walk from Stone Crossing station or 15 mins from Greenhithe station.

Situated in Greenhithe close to the M25 and Dartford Tunnel we operate our coatings distribution business supplying and working with our customers across the UK. We provide the products for body shops to enable them to match colours and to spray / repair vehicles. Deliveries are made daily by our own fleet of vehicles. We have been trading since 1986 and have grown and evolved our business in line with market trends and have embraced modern technology to enable us to satisfy the needs of our varied customer base.
