This varied role will involve a mixture of office-based work and travel to client sites around the region to dispense advice and perform consultations.

What will the apprentice be doing?
The job role will involve a mixture of office based work and regional travel. Some of the main duties will include:
- Completing paperwork
- Writing documents and procedures
- Performing health & safety assessments.
- Undertaking site visits across the South West and completing site inspections and audits.
The candidate should have good IT skills, strong written English, a confident approach and the ability to work to high standard without constant supervision.
This role would possibly be suitable for a post A-Level student, looking for an alternative to university education. However the position is open to all ages.
Ideally the candidate would have a driving licence or plan to obtain one shortly, as the role involves travel to client sites across the region to perform inspections etc.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training will allow the apprentice to achieve a Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician qualification.
Other training will include SMSTS, NEBOSH Qualifications and specific industry required courses.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Post apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity for further training will enable the apprentice to eventually achieve an NVQ Level 6 Occupational Health and Safety Diploma (Degree Level) and CMIOSH status.
