BP Rolls is one of the largest independent commercial and private vehicle repairers in the UK. An exciting opportunity has become available for an apprentice welder in our vehicle body repair shop. Manufacturing anything that can be fabricated out of metal such as bridges, oil rigs and ships.

Salary £14,560 for those under 18 yrs based on a 40hour week Salary £16,380 for those 18yrs and older based on a 45 hr week

What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be working alongside skilled craftsmen and trained in all aspects of commercial body repair:
This will include:
- All aspects steel cutting and fabrication
- Electric grinders and guillotine
- Mig and arc welding
- Using a variety of equipment such as hand tools, air drills and pillar drills
You will also be given training on a forklift and scissor lift.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with initiative, self-confidence, with the drive and ability to work under their own direction or within a team of professionals. They will need to be punctual, reliable and focused on the requirements of the role.

You will attend Sparsholt for a two-week block in August and then day release starting from September
You will achieve:
- Level 3 Advanced Metal Fabrication Standard
- Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship you may be offered a permanent position within the organisation.
