What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be working alongside skilled craftsmen and trained in all aspects of commercial body repair:
This will include:
- All aspects steel cutting and fabrication
- Electric grinders and guillotine
- Mig and arc welding
- Using a variety of equipment such as hand tools, air drills and pillar drills
You will also be given training on a forklift and scissor lift.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with initiative, self-confidence, with the drive and ability to work under their own direction or within a team of professionals. They will need to be punctual, reliable and focused on the requirements of the role.

You will attend Sparsholt for a two-week block in August and then day release starting from September

- Level 3 Advanced Metal Fabrication Standard
- Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship you may be offered a permanent position within the organisation.
