What will the apprentice be doing?

  • General office duties including answering the telephone
  • Admin support to all departments and assist with the daily operation of the office
  • Raising purchasing orders for consumable materials, stationery and work wear
  • Chase outstanding supplier purchase orders
  •  Maintain the outstanding purchase order report and update production management software
  • Record and maintain customer enquiries and complaints.
  • Match supplier delivery notes, purchase orders and invoices, checking invoice values to ensure price discrepancies are challenged internally and externally
  • Creating and sending weekly/monthly customer reports.
  • Filing and archive room maintenance
  • Observe received delivery notes on a daily basis and ensure delivered material and parts are sourced to waiting works order
  • Basic customer service duties – providing updated delivery dates and responding to customer queries
