Quality here means understanding manufacturing methods, monitoring and improving operating process, and influencing best practice in the production environment.

What will the apprentice be doing?
From sourcing raw material to customer receipt; Quality plays a key role in absolutely everything we do.
Building on your passion to get things right first time every time, as part of the Quality Team you will be supporting others in seeking ways of improving the customer experience, promoting better productivity and performance and constantly driving for excellence.
You will be at the forefront of influencing new operating procedure and developing improvement plans, maintaining certifications.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Full Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required.
This programme includes the Level 4 Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (Development Competence) Diploma.
This programme includes the Higher National Certificate in Engineering.
This programme is delivered via a day release model at our engineering innovation centre in NG17. Day release is term time only.
You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
You will experience a blended learning model.
You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.
At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.
