What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Source materials within the supply chain

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship, you will achieve a CIPS Level 3 Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations. Learning will primarily be delivered through an on-line platform whereby the apprentice will need to attend 3-hour training and revision lessons on a weekly basis delivered by an experienced CIPS specialist. 

This course will primarily cover: 

  • Procurement & supply chain environments 
  • Ethical procurement & supply 
  • Contract administration 
  • Team's dynamics and change 
  • Socially responsible procurement 

Exams will also need to undertaken at a training centre in Manchester.

Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeship’s English and maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3.
