The role will be varied and you will be provided 'on-the-job' training to support your AAT apprenticeship studies. You will go on to do other accounting qualifications such as ACCA if required. You will largely be working on bookkeeping, VAT and accounts preparation projects, taxation and audits and also assist in some of the day to day functions that are essential to keeping the office running smoothly.

What will the apprentice be doing?
You will largely be working on bookkeeping, VAT and accounts preparation projects, taxation and audits and also assist in some of the day to day functions that are essential to keeping the office running smoothly.
- Bookkeeping in the office
- Preparation of VAT returns for review
- Preparation of accounts for review (includes unincorporated and incorporated entities)
- Preparation of personal, partnership and company tax returns and computations for review
- Support on client audit assigments
- Completion of jobs as efficiently as possible
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 4 Professional accounting or taxation technician standard.
The instructor led, weekly, classroom training will take you through all of the AAT Level 4 curriculum.
You will be provided with books and online tools to allow further training. A full training schedule is provided upon a confirmed start date; however training is typical 1 day per week.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
There is the opportunity to progress to a more senior level with the firm and a career within accountancy.
