What will the apprentice be doing?
Overall Objective:
- To assist in the reporting of HSEQ standards on Esh Group Sites
- To promote and encourage increased safety awareness with particular promotion of the Esh Safe Brand (Everyone Safely Home)
Key Accountabilities:
- The role will involve assisting in undertaking regular HSEQ inspections on our Construction Sites, Plant Yard and offices.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of management systems including ISO 9001(Quality) ISO 14001 (Environmental) ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management)
- Support the Esh Group Health and Safety Team in the development and implementation of H&S policies and procedures
- Submit accurate documentation to the Esh Group Health and Safety Manager/Director
- Support the integration of existing technology used by the company including Field view/Viewpoint

General Responsibilities:
- The Group is committed to achieving a high standard of Health and Safety in all its activities and the post holder will be expected to contribute to maintaining standards to ensure compliance with all appropriate legislation
- To take a full role in the implementation of personal development through appraisals and to participate in any identified training or development opportunities
- To recognise the importance of fairness and equality in the workplace, to treat everyone with dignity and respect
Key Measurements:
- Updating statistics /registers
- Compilation of safety KPIs and safety meeting minutes
- Submission of accurate documentation in a timely manner
- Satisfaction levels/feedback from site visits and HSEQ advisors
- Ongoing improvement targets set by line manager
- General administration duties
