What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the early years foundation stage
  • Identify and support children's unique developmental needs
    Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of all children
  • Work proactively, imaginatively and have a practical approach to planning and delivering an early years curriculum
  • Communicate effectively within a team
  • Provide the highest level of service to parents and carers
  • Have key worker responsibility to review the children’s progress regularly and share this with the parents

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • They will be allocated an experienced Early Years Tutor who will be delivering online lessons to develop your understanding of the qualification and support you with your assignments
  • They will be also visited by your tutor in the setting
  • They will be entitled to time out of ratio to complete your coursework, this will be discussed and arranged with the management team at the setting
  • 68 hr off the job training
  • Qualification - NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Qualification gained at the end would be NCFE CACHE LEVEL 3 Diploma For The Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)

  • From there it is possible to progress to NCFE CACHE Level 5 Diploma for The Early Years Senior Practitioner.
