What will the apprentice be doing?

Main Duties:
1. Dealing with enquiries from patients and members of staff
2. Entering patient information accurately on the Clinical systems
3. Booking and cancelling patient appointments
4. Registrations and Deductions
5. Scanning clinical letters
6. Read code into patients notes/documents
7. Filing, faxing, photocopying,
8. Dealing with repeat prescription requests

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will receive support from an assessor to help you prepare for your End Point Assessment covering:
● Knowledge
● Skills
● Behaviour
As required to meet L3 Business Administrator apprenticeship Standard.
You will attend online masterclasses every other week for 1 day.

About the employer

We are a small, well established practice situated just off the Binley Road in Coventry. We look after 5,400+ patients, with 3 doctors, nurses and 1 health care assistant. We are also involved in teaching medical students and training GPs. Our doctors are experienced and professional and have a diversity of medical interests and skills. We have a commitment to the highest standards, and we hope that our patients make considerate use of our NHS facilities, as we aim for continuous improvement as resources permit.
