What will the apprentice be doing?

Cena is delighted to announce that they are looking to expand their wonderful team and are looking for an exceptional member to join them, this apprenticeship will allow you to learn, develop and gain new skills with an amazing, experienced team.

  • Working alongside the executives’ chefs, sous chef, line chef as well as other kitchen employees in food production
  • Assist kitchen staff in maintaining high cuisine standards
  • Assist the line chefs in the production of different foods for example vegetables, meats and pastries
  • You will adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Assist the chef in preparing and serving food to clients on time
  • Maintain food safety when storing, hold and serving food
  • Learn the importance of stock rotation and adhere to it

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Commis Chef apprenticeship:

  • On and off the job training
  • Day release at College or Training Centre
