What will the apprentice be doing?
A Business Administrator is expected to successfully complete these tasks on a regular basis:
- Update internal data bases to ensure the accurate recording of all data and provide up to date management information
- Processing wellbeing applications, purchase orders and updating internal databases
- Assist with the collation of statistical information for monitoring, performance and review purposes
- Scan all information directly onto Document Management system
- General office duties such as: information packs, post, filing, laminating, printing, copying
- Produce flyers and mailshots in consultation with the Business Development Manager
- Assist with social media communications
- Incoming and outgoing mail
- Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
- Liaising with external organisations to book facilities
- Maintain controlled documents for the services and assist with collation of ISO Library
- Offer a professional reception service and provide information to visitors and employees
- Assisting with maintaining an efficient stationery stock control system, ordering stock where necessary
- It may be necessary to undertake work which may not be specifically covered in the job description. These additional duties will be compatible with regular tasks and duties of the role
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Business Administrator Standard.
Once the learner has successfully completed their apprenticeship, they will be awarded a level 3 (A level) equivalent qualification. The majority of the training will take place on site with the employer and will include a combination of face-to-face, online learning and mentor training.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon completion the learner may be offered a full-time role if the employer is satisfied with how they were during their apprenticeship.
