Mouldmaker Apprenticeship STEELITE INTERNATIONAL LIMITED
In the role you will be making plaster moulds using resin and rubber cases for use in the clay manufacturing processes. This is a great chance to join a supportive and committed employer. Monday - Thursday, 7am - 3pm and Friday, 7am - 2:00pm. On occasion you may be requested to work a reasonable amount of overtime outside of these hours.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- To produce plaster moulds at the correct plaster to water ratio
- To ensure all moulds are stamped with the appropriate identification mark
- To ensure moulds meet the correct quality standard
- To report any machine problems or case problems
- To ensure specified running’s are achieved daily and to record mould loss
- To comply with all Health and Safety Regulations and Company policies and to ensure at all times that the work area is clean, tidy and safe

Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship standard:
- Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing
- Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full-time employment after the apprenticeship. Opportunities to progress to team leader roles or move to other departments if needed.
