Monday to Friday. during the first 3 month, you will be working 9am - 5pm. Months 4 to 7, working Monday, 9am to 5pm, Tuesday, 10am to 6pm, Wednesday,12pm to 8pm, Thursday, 1pm – 9pm, and Friday, 10am to 6pm. Months 7 and onwards, Monday - Friday, more late shifts with 10pm being the latest finish, shifts to be confirmed.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Working as part of a team you will join a fast-growing busy IT company that provide technical support services to SMEs throughout the UK on IT and telecoms products and services.
In this role, you will:
- Respond to phone calls and tickets covering the installations and maintenance of the company’s growing client base
- Work on IT projects
Throughout your apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to get stuck into various aspects the job to fully immerse yourself in what it means to be an Infrastructure Technician Apprentice.
Duties will include:
- Answering calls and logging tickets
- Managing low level tickets such as Full hard-drives, reboots required
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues using basic tools such as command prompt and PowerShell to maintain the safety of the companies networking infrastructure
This role will require you to demonstrate flexibility and commitment as it will require you to work varied shift patterns. Once you start doing the late shifts your salary will be increased to reflect that.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Over 18 months, you’ll devote a minimum of 6 hours of your working week on ‘off the job’ training. This can include theory training (for example, virtual lessons & online learning), alongside practical training (for example shadowing, mentoring, & time spent writing assignments. Together this will count towards a Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship. You’ll be trained by an expert tutor from Tiro as well as an experienced mentor at Hubergroup who together, will make sure you develop the knowledge, skills, and work habits you’ll need to succeed in your career.
