What will the apprentice be doing?

  • You will learn how to document processes, analyse problems, capture requirements, and help us find opportunities for improvement within our business.
  • You’ll be working towards coordinating and facilitating business proposals, often in relation to digital processes and IT, to achieve successful business outcomes
  • This role on a whole is learning how to accurately defined requirements and translate these into a proposed solution, so business can operate smoothly
  • You’ll learn how to investigate and analyse business processes, understand data and business information needs, and document requirements for digital and business change solutions

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Within our business analyst team you will complete the Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship allowing you to develop the skills & experience required to become an expert business analyst
  • You’ll combine on-the-job learning with formal, nationally recognised development training
  • A personal development plan will help drive your career progression, set, agreed & regularly reviewed with your line manager
  • Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Following completion of your apprenticeship, you will move into a full-time role as a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Technical Expert within the HSW Ttam (location to be confirmed)
  • You’ll be supported every step of the way, by your line manager and mentor for your career in Severn Trent
