What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be part of a small team within our workshop manufacturing hand-crafted wooden furniture.
This role involves lots of aspects of Joinery as our main material is Wood/Timber. You can expect to work with all hand-held tools and our larger plant machinery once you have been trained up.
Job roles include:
- Preparing/machining wood
- Furniture assembly
- Maintaining machinery
- Cleaning & keeping an organised workspace.
Being in a small team, there are likely other duties required which includes:
- Packaging for furniture to be shipped, preparing the kiln
- Loading & unloading timbers
- Moving material
- Cleaning wood yard
- Any other duties as required

- Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional skills in maths and English if required
- No day release element
