What will the apprentice be doing?
We are a highly successful Marketing Agency based near Newton Abbot, Kingskerswell. Our specialism is working within the hospitality sector, and we are proud to have hundreds of fabulous hotel and restaurant clients throughout the UK. So, if you have an interest in hospitality, food, and travel, we see this as an advantage and would love to talk to you.
Specific duties will include:
- Answering the telephone and transferring calls to relevant team members, and taking messages
- Monitoring the support helpdesk and answering client queries with the assistance of the team
- Loading content and images into an online management system
- Social Media content and posting
- Blog writing
- Virtual appointment booking (In time, this will include undertaking remote virtual demos and training sessions with clients - full training will be provided
- Proofing new sites before they go live and testing new functionality
- Document management
- Assisting with fulfilment (printing, packing, and posting vouchers). In time the candidate will be responsible for running the fulfilment area on specific days.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
If successful, you will be enrolled onto the 24-month level 3 Business Administration qualification with South Devon College. With 12 months of taught sessions which take places at either the Torquay or Paignton College campus you will learn the theory and skills to help you become a competent administrator within a busy office environment. Once you have finished your taught sessions you will still receive support from your assessor coach and employer to get you ready for your final assessment. This role will also give any applicant exposure to dealing with multiple clients and customers of a growing department, which will further add to a great grounding in any business environment. The marketing elements of this role will be taught in house at Clockwork under our own Guest Net learning academy. There is scope for this to become a full-time role post apprenticeship.
