What will the apprentice be doing?

Aptech (Powder Systems) design and manage fully integrated specific packages. Their solutions are designed, selected and sourced to meet the specific requirements of their customers. They are looking for an Administration Apprentice to join their team.

Duties will include:

  • As an apprentice you will be dealing with phone calls and emails and you will also be responsible for scheduling meetings and helping to develop project manuals. In addition, part of you role will be to make travel arrangements
  • You will be booking transport, deliveries and collections
  • You will be raising supplier orders and giving quotes and dealing with invoices, as well as chasing for payments
  • You will also be able to assist with the administration management of waste collection and the company car fleets and mobiles. And also manage the printers and stock

Salary will depend on your experience.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship - Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • You will also study a range of topics, including: IT, record and document production, decision making, planning and organisation, project management, policies, relevant regulations, stakeholders, processes and external environment factors
