What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Ability to learn how to install timeware software.
  • Ability to learn how to install Suprema hardware.
  • Knowledge of how to use computers and to install software.
  • Able to problem solve and find solutions to PC related issues.
  • Be self-reliant.
  • Knowledge of how to construct a format email.
  • Microsoft Office experience (word, excel etc)
  • Basic network knowledge.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Digital Support Technician Standard level 3.

You will attend weekly off the job classes at the Oldham College.

Things to consider

It would be advantageous to have a full clean UK licence and access to a vehicle to travel to customer sites throughout the UK. It will be a customer facing role that will require you to engage with a wide range of users at all levels within the business. Are you able to work away from home for up to a week at a time and being flexible in the hours you work? Previous experience working in a software company would be advantageous though not essential.
