Plexus has worked with training providers to expand its programme for Paralegal Apprentices to include a greater range of skills applicable to working in a modern law firm. Your duties will include but not be limited to, take delivery of all incoming court proceedings, dealing with CRU (Compensation Recovery Unit) related matters, collation of files for audit and logging out files on Vectus and ensuring return, etc.,

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Take delivery of all incoming court proceedings
  • Dealing with CRU (Compensation Recovery Unit) related matters
  • Collation of files for audit and logging out files on Vectus and ensuring return
  • Preparing acknowledgements of service
  • Disbursement checking and posting and dealing with disbursement queries
  • Create initial letters and documents to Court, Claimant Solicitors, CRU, and the insured as appropriate
  • Contacting court and/or Claimant Solicitors as appropriate

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Paralegal Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • CILEx Level 3 Diploma in Providing Legal Services
  • 20% off-the-job study time per week (1 day per week) 
  • Off-the-job study time to be completed remotely or in the office with support from the training provider

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
