What will the apprentice be doing?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming customers ‘with a smile’ (walk-in and by appointment), offering coffee/tea to make them comfortable
  • Build rapport with customers by providing professional and informative response to enquiries
  • Converting enquiries into bookings by using your knowledge and experience to help the customer choose a holiday that is perfect for them
  • Providing a consistently excellent level of customer service, tailoring each booking to best meet the needs of the individual, and communicating effectively face to face and through email and telephone 
  • Ensuring the office is clean and presentable at all times

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Travel Consultant apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
