Apprenticeship in early years BROCK HOUSE NURSERY SCHOOL LTD
Duties will include care routines i.e. changing nappies, toileting, helping to wash hands, cleaning up after activities and mealtimes. Planning and implementing activities indoors and outdoors, working as a team, engaging with children in play. You will be working fulltime with 30 hours paid at apprenticeship rate and 10 hours at minimum wage.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Engaging with the children, helping to support their everyday learning
- Daily jobs such as helping to set up and clean-up activities including meal times and garden time
- Role model and encourage personal, social and emotional skills
- Learn about planning, circle time, free play and adult led activities
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will gain a Level 2 early years practitioner qualification.
As well as on the job training you will have some time out each week to complete some course work
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Can go on to complete Level 3 early years educator and then become a fully qualified part of the team
