What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Assisting with the planning of events to be held at Hollow Trees Farm
  • Assisting with the running of the Farm Trail - you will be hands on in this role
  • Providing fantastic customer service to our visitors at all times

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 3 Events Assistant
  • The training is "on the job".  
  • You will undertake monthly Tutor led 1 day seminars - held remotely
  • Each month you will spend 1 - 2 hours with your Skills Coach (Assessor)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The business anticipates growth and extra responsibilities which will result in management of the Trail and Events at Hollow Trees Farm.

Things to consider

This is a job that involves much time outside. Wet weather gear is just as essential as sun cream and a sun hat! Being fit will help as this is a role that requires travelling around the trail on pretty much a daily basis and when events are being set up levels of lifting and carrying.

Hollow Trees Farm is a family run business comprising of a Farm Shop, Farm Attraction, Butchery, Cafe and Delicatessen. It has been established since the mid eighties and has grown progressively throughout the years with over 80,000 visitors to the Farm Attraction each year.
