What will the apprentice be doing?
- Given exposure to different products through rotations or secondments during your apprenticeship
- Support the site teams in improving production efficiency
- Support Site Managers, Maintenance Managers and Operations Managers in the running of their teams and functions
- Basic maintenance and inspections on site
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will receive a Level 5 qualification in Mineral Products Technician. The training at the University of Derby will be a block release. The on the job training will be given on various sites within Tarmac.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once qualified, you can become a Production Manager.
