What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working alongside our activity professionals in local primary schools to support their delivery of high quality P.E. & school sport
  • Deliver breakfast, lunchtime & after school clubs
  • Support in the delivery of our special projects which include balance bikes, archery and fencing
  • Support & deliver competitions alongside our other staff members
  • Help with setting up and putting away of equipment
  • Deliver/assist on our Ofsted registered holiday camps

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The qualification is a Level 3 Sports coach apprenticeship
  • The training will include online courses, webinars, classroom based training and onsite visits
  • Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking their end point assessment

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Apprentices have the opportunity to move into full-time paid activity professional positions within our company. We have a clear 'Premier Pathway' of progression for all of our employees.
