Beresfords have a fabulous opportunity for an apprentice to join Beresfords Head Office Group Resources team, providing customer service support to all teams and divisions across the Group. Based at Head Office, Springfield Lyons Approach. You will work towards a Level 2 Customer Services Practitioner apprenticeship standard. Duties will include meeting & greeting people visiting our Head Office, offering teas and coffees.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Meet & greet people visiting our Head Office, offering teas and coffees
  • Answering all incoming telephone calls, taking messages, and passing them on to fellow colleagues
  • Contacting all branches via telephone each morning to confirm all video walls, internal wall TVs and external windowTVs are in full working order
  • Responsibility for all meeting rooms including ensuring they are adequately prepared in advance of meetings taking place.
  • Offering teas & coffees, clearing of cups and plates then cleaning down tables and replacing cutlery. Leaving rooms clean and tidy
  • Taking deliveries and notifying recipients straight away
  • Ordering and preparation of lunches and beverages linked to business meetings and coding invoices as appropriate to enable SOS to approve
  • Completion cards - Completion cards to be sent each Monday and franked under each office

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)

Candidate will work towards End-Point Assessment and compile a project and portfolio of evidence under the Tutor's guidance. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Successful candidates will have the opportunity of progressing quickly within the company after completion of the apprenticeship. This is dependent on progress and performance.
