What will the apprentice be doing?

We are looking for a Business Administration apprentice to join our team. 

- From your first day you will join a community of experts, where everyone is supported in their career path and encouraged to work towards an accredited qualification. 

- You will help us to deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients.

- While you will have a great deal of responsibility from day one, we will give you the chance to take on more as you progress and broaden your skills. 

- As a Business Administration Apprentice in Arup, you will work within a team providing business administration assistance to internal customers (engineers, planners and other design professionals) and external clients. Our projects vary in size, location and complexity.  For example, they may involve highways, airports, ports, rail schemes or new office/retail/residential developments. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As part of your apprenticeship, you'll study towards the Level 3 qualification in Business Administration with one of our approved training providers. 

You'll study at a local partner college on day release, and combine this experience with real responsibilities in the workplace.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

When joining us as one of our apprentices, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to study for a paid, professionally-recognised qualification in a discipline that will help you further your career.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll have access to our online network. You’ll also take internal courses. These cover technical aspects of the business, such as software, but also vital ‘soft’ skills such as report writing and working effectively.
