What will the apprentice be doing?
Main Duties:
• Support Administration staff and Personal Progress Tutors (PPT) within student support and curriculum areas with a wide range of administrative processes.
• Support the delivery of key events as required by the college throughout the academic year such as Parent’s Evenings and Open Events.
• Assist with arranging educational visits, in accordance with our procedures.
• Maintain files and systems ensuring they are up to date and accurate.
• Undertake copy/word-processing of correspondence reports, etc for teaching and administrative staff.
• Operate reprographic equipment as required. • To assist with key supporting duties around the enrolment and on-boarding of students at the beginning of the academic year.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- The learner will be studying the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
- Day release to West Suffolk College.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
This can lead to further roles across ECG such as a Personal Progress Tutor or an administrative role, as and when they are available. £6.83 per hour 18 - 20 years old. £5.28 per hour - under 18 years old.
