What will the apprentice be doing?
As an Assistant to Quality Management, you will bring enthusiasm & self-motivation which will be welcomed & used to its potential to engage you into providing an effective quality team within the broader project management team.
- Promote compliance at all times
- Participate in reviews of current procedures & policies
- Assist with review & improvement of Quality Assurance & Control
- Collation and filing of record documentation, preparing documents for client acceptance
- Onsite review of records compiled & report status to manager
- Assist with supporting site management in compliance with Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Communicate with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Assist in gathering data to monitor performance
- Review customer requirements and make sure they are met
- Help set standards for quality as well as health and safety
- Make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards
- Participate in quality forum
- Look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will recieve Level 4 Quality Practitioner Aprrenticeship Qualification.
A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, (14 - 18 months including endpoint assessment) topics covered include:
- Introduction to Quality and Quality Management Systems
- Quality - Organisations and their Context
- Product and Service Life Cycle and Design
- Understanding and Delivering Customer Requirements
- Risk, Opportunity and Objectives
- Leveraging the value of Audits
- Driving Improvement
- Culture, Communication and Life-Long learning
You may need to complete level 2 maths and English Functional skills (if you cannot evidence prior grades).
