We have a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice SHE Technician with excellent IT skills and confidence in technical administration. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for the protection of people whilst also being able to work within a fun and hard-working team environment. You will review accident reporting systems and raise any concerns to the health and safety manager.

What will the apprentice be doing?
The SHE Apprentice will:
- Communicate effectively and contribute effectively in both spoken and written word adapting to the audience to present information or training in an assertive, engaging way
- Work with others (colleagues and contactors) and lead by example in a collaborative and non- confrontational way
- Be able to adjust to change in relation to the requirements of the organisation
- Contribute to and promote a positive culture
- Challenge behaviour that is inconsistent with trust and safety culture
- Positively influence behaviour in others to achieve desired outcomes and resolve conflicts
- Be able to identify areas for improvement and suggest sustainable innovative solutions
- Be able to work within own level of competence, know when to seek advice from others
- Support the health and safety manager
- Review and update risk assessments where necessary
- Review accident reporting systems and raise any concerns to the health and safety manager

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
During your apprenticeship you will undergo remote learning through live webinars, forums, one to ones with a dedicated learning coach. You will receive constant feedback and coaching through RHG’s team of experienced learning coaches.
You will gain the Level 3 Safety Health and Environment Technician Standard qualification, an IOSH approved Accident Investigation Certificate (additionally level 2 in English and maths if not previously attained).
Upon successful completion you will be able to join the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at Tech IOSH level. They will also be eligible to join the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) at Affiliate level.
