What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Microsoft Office use such as excel, word etc.
  • Filing paperwork and filing electronically
  • Organising meetings and events
  • Taking meeting minutes and reporting
  • Project management relating to the office and delegating work to others
  • Coaching other members of staff on systems
  • Using SAGE and working with financial work such as invoicing
  • Customer Service - dealing with phone calls, emails, and occasional visitors
  • Scheduling maintenance works
  • Placing delivery orders
  • Placing stationery orders for the department and staff unform orders
  • Sending out tenant letters
  • Checking fuel receipts
  • To oversee the fleet vehicles for servicing and repairs
  • Using the internal CRM system

  • Level 3 Qualification in Business Administration (A-level equivalent)
  • Studying at Middlesbrough College for one day a week
