What will the apprentice be doing?
We would look for a dedicated rider with ambition and personality.
We have a large variety of horses and ponies to ride and school for their education.
The potential student will also be encouraged to study for their teaching qualificaitons.
Duties to include (but not limited to):
- Mucking out
- Grooming
- Turning out/ bringing in
- All yard duties
We are unable to offer accommodation, but livery is available.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- The Equine Groom, level 2 Apprenticeship Standard to be supported by Haddon Training, along with maths and English functional skills if required
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Possibility of progression on to the level 3 senior equine groom for the right candidate
