Your role with our company would be assisting our small team in the workshop building coffins, caring for the deceased and placement into their coffins. Assisting with Vehicle preparation for funerals before and after. acting as a driver, and bearer on funerals and assisting our clients at funeral services.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Your role would include:
- Building coffins and placing deceased into the selected coffins
- Vehicles - cleaning and preparing vehicles before and after funerals
- Care of the deceased, collecting from their places of death, home, hospital or nursing home
- Bearing and driving on funeral services
- Out of hours on call rota
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The qualitifcation will be Funeral Team Member Level 2.
Functional skills Maths and English - Level 1.
Training would be held at our Hatch End and Harefield Offices by our team and a tutor on site 1 day per month and online.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
To have a full time job within the company and progress further to long term employment.
