This is a 2 year Level 4 apprenticeship position within the InfoSec and Risk team. The role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to learn through a series of 12 week rotational placements.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Rotational activity will include:
- Work within our cyber defence team proactively monitoring responding and investigating unusual or suspicious activities
- Support our Supplier Assurance activities learning how to risk assess our supply chain
- Assist with the delivery of the Risk & Controls Framework
- Co-ordinate the annual audit process
- Undertake application security assessments, assisting with the development of banner risk landscapes
- Contribute to the development and execution of security awareness and education activities
- Ensure new systems and services are delivered “Secure by Design”
- Gain exposure and develop skills in the areas of business analysis, project management and engineering
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 4 Cyber Security Technician.

The successful candidates will be able to apply their learning to a full time role within a number of security disciplines or move onto a Level 6 apprenticeship position.
