What will the apprentice be doing?
- Individuals must be able to work alone and as part of a team
- Complete all necessary technical qualification and diplomas on time and to the correct standard
- Maintain an excellent timekeeping record at both the training centre and in the work place
- Provide repair service in the event of equipment and machinery breakdown
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities
- Undertake any necessary mechanical welding machine repair work
- Undertake any necessary electrical welding machine repair work
- Compile and maintain preventative maintenance program
- Carry out electrical breakdown testing / repairs
- Installation of electrical equipment i.e. sockets, lights etc
- Provide fast and accurate fault diagnosis involving complex automated equipment with PLC's
- Carry out calibration / validation of welding equipment
- Compile data and maintain preventative maintenance programme
- Support equipment commissioning. and support and assist with installation projects
