What will the apprentice be doing?

The duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Helping coordinate staffing requirements for events
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of events
  • Dealing with calls and emails from customers and helping them with their enquiries
  • Maintaining paper and electronic files
  • Dealing with suppliers and keeping track of inventory such as stationary
  • Updating weekly boards with upcoming events
  • Diary management for yourself and your manager
  • Researching travel and accommodation for staff
  • Participating in meetings and taking minutes
  • Updating our client websites with event information

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Training to be provided:

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Functional Skills (if required)

You will attend Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training once a fortnight - based in Radford, Coventry.

Event Support Team is a leading Events Company who manages an event from the planning stage to the implementation of the big day. We specialise in car park and traffic management with our in-house built ANPR system to make ingress and egress as swift as possible. We work and have worked at some of the largest events in the world including, Rugby World Cup, Champions League Final, Olympics, Premiership Football, Premiership Rugby, Championship Football, Music Festivals, Concerts and many more! We provide a range of services from car parking and traffic management right through to Security and stewarding. We also have our in house call centre to assist our customers and ensure they have the smoothest experience possible when attending these events. Our head office is based in Exhall, just off the Bayton road.
