What will the apprentice be doing?
The primary task is to answer technical inquiries through our ticket system, phone, chat, email, and, where necessary, remote virtual desktop. The Technical Support Specialist will resolve each technical inquiry to the point where the email ticket or telephone call can be brought to a satisfactory close as quickly as possible and with high customer satisfaction.
HDANYWHERE will provide product and role training on the job.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Digital Support Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
The successful candidate will undertake an eighteen-month, nationally recognised qualification through TDM. This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in an online training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions.
You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours, which will lead to the achievement of the qualification. These block weeks will take place in virtual training rooms.
You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body.
This is a Level 3 qualification.

- Digital Technologies
- Data Management and Information Systems
- Security
- Applications Technicians (or) Service Technicians
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once training is complete, you will be a qualified technical sales professional. This role typically leads to progression into more senior technical roles within the company if the correct aptitude and ability is demonstrated. Additional training can then be provided for web technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, Javascript and frameworks such as Node.Js and React. Opportunity to progress on to a higher level apprenticeship, including a degree, to continue with your learning.
