What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Setting up and configuring new desktops and laptops
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Completing internal user moves including phones
  • Ensuring all logs for equipment and users are maintained
  • Installing authorised software to desktops and laptops
  • Undertaking small sized IT projects as instructed by the Lead Project Engineer

About the employer

TechCare offer managed IT services, network installations, cyber security, infrastructure support, and much more to a variety of businesses. The 1st Line Support Apprentice is responsible for supporting and maintaining their customers desktop operating systems, performing basic server tasks, monitoring the IT infrastructure and general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software. The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.
