What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working under the direction of the manager on curriculum coverage and requirements
  • Supporting children both individually, as well as a member of a collaborative group
  • Supporting any social and organisational skills
  • Monitoring behaviour
  • Carrying out specific programmes devised to meet specific needs
  • Recording activities in the classroom when requested by the manager
  • Preparing appropriate materials and resources for a particular activity
  • Taking part in routine liaisons with professionals involved with the pupils
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the academy
  • Appreciate and support the role of other professionals and colleagues
  • Attend any relevant meetings as required
