What will the apprentice be doing?
A large construction company working on projects in the Barking and Dagenham area is looking to employ an apprentice as an office administrator. The successful candidate will complete the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
The role of the business administrator will be to:
- Maintain the project filing system
- Prepare documents for storage/archiving
- Ordering and costings
- Uploading of all new project information to the relevant systems
- Aid in preparation of contract folders (including printing)
- Managing the data input and ensuring it up to date and accurate
- Assisting the Estimators with issuing of information
- Quality checking of all documents at the first stage of the workflows for compliance
- Maintaining site record sheets
- Assisting to arrange site visitors with visiting parties from educationla establishments
- Assisting with communications with local community
- Assisting with payroll
- Carrying out reception duties as required including answering the telephone, and meeting and greeting visitors
- Taking messages
- Arranging meetings
- Organising manager's diaries

Training will be by means of regular online sessions and successful completion of the apprenticeship will result in a level 3 Business Administration qualification.
