What will the apprentice be doing?

The candidate would be joining our Freight Forwarding team at Fradley. The Freight Forwarding team are responsible for subcontracting customer's consignments to other logistics suppliers.

The duties included in this job role will be:

  • POD (Proof of Delivery) chasing/scanning to the TMS (Traffic Management System)
  • Answering of telephones
  • Distribution of invoices with PODs
  • Emails in and outbound
  • Chasing purchase order numbers ready for billing
  • Checking off purchase orders with self-bill invoices
  • Order entry of consignments for customers
  • Checking 3rd party haulier invoices and authorising for payment
  • Updating supplier & customer portals
