What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Dealing with enquiries matching need to the correct disposal solution for both trade & individual
  • Process orders within the pre-set timescales
  • Record all customer communications on the internal data
  • Arrange order acknowledgement communications
  • Follow up on processing orders for customers
  • Co-ordinate delivery and provide proof of delivery communications
  • Assist with marketing call campaigns
  • Vehicle Prep: price boarding & cleaning etc.
  • Work towards the successful achievement of team targets

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group
  • As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship. Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition for these qualifications

Things to consider

Your role will be have a varied and therefore you will need to be adaptable to change and willing to learn new skills. You should have a minimum of Grade A*- D/ 9-3 or equivalent in GCSE Maths & English Language Prior experience of working with the general public would be advantageous but not essential NOTE - There is limited public transport to this employers location but there is free onsite parking
