We currently have an opportunity at the practice for a Customer Service apprentice. We are an extremely busy practice and aims to provide a high standard of care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is able to offer a high level of customer service whilst being able to remain calm under pressure.

What will the apprentice be doing?
We are an extremely busy practice and aims to provide a high standard of care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is able to offer a high level of customer service whilst being able to remain calm under pressure. We have a large and supportive team of healthcare professionals who are on-hand to offer support and advice.
Daily responsibilities will be:
- Welcoming and greeting patients and other visitors to the medical centre
- Answering the phone
- Booking appointments either at the reception desk or by telephone
- Ordering prescriptions
- Dealing with patient queries
- Various administration tasks
- Liaising with members of the healthcare team
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Full Business Administrator Standard
- All training will take place at employers premises
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The possibility of full time employment on the successful completion of the apprenticeship.
